Extra, Extra, Read All About It!

Reading is the key that opens doors to many good things in life. Reading shaped my dreams, and more reading helped me make my dreams come true.” -Ruth Bader Ginsburg

The Books for Betterment Foundation, a charitable nonprofit organization, donates new and used books to local families, schools and community programs. Our purpose: To enrich the lives of children and adults through the written word.

Research supports a strong link between reading and academic success; an increase in language and vocabulary skills may also contribute to job success. In addition to the various cognitive benefits, reading is shown to boost confidence and reduce stress.
